If you want to incorporate denim into vintage looks, it is better to use classic denim creations without annoying details, acid washes, frayed looks, cracks and tears. Use monochrome designs that make you look classy and timelessly chic. I like to see women dressed in denim dresses, shirts, jeans and skirts with classic shirts, sweaters and cardigans. For example, you can try on an overall dress and combine it with a ladylike sweater adorned with lace details, or take inspiration from the 1970s by wearing wide-leg jeans with a black sweater and white shirt combination and beret. Denim highlights your relaxed style and fit. Speaking of tops, you’d better avoid sexy crop tops and sheer blouses. Better to use conservative styles that can be updated with modern accessories or DIY. I love to see women wearing peasant blouses, puff-sleeved shirts, and feminine bottoms, like pencil skirts, full skirts, and accordion styles. Have fun with vintage clothes. Go for Peter Pan collars, puff sleeve designs, playful prints and colors.
